How to Setup Load Balancing on the Axway/Vordel API Server

Setting up load-balancing on the Vordel/Axway API Server is as simple as creating a "Remote Host" entry, then whenever you route to that host in a configuration, the load-balancing will apply.

See below - you have the option of choosing simple Round-Robin or else Weighted Load-Balancing.

If you're using a "Watchdog" to send synthetic traffic to your endpoint, then this will feed into the load-balancing algorithm so the load-balancing decision-making will always be up-to-date. The "Watchdog" is also setup at the Remote Host level.
